This page explains how I decide what to review on Sushi Adventures, how the reviews are produced, and how I handle conflicts of interest. If anything I publish ever falls short of this, tell me at contact@sushiadventures.com and I’ll fix it.

How I decide what to review

I review places I have actually eaten at and dishes I have actually had. I don’t write reviews from press releases, second-hand reports, or AI summaries. If I haven’t sat down and eaten there, you won’t see a review of it here.

How I review

• I pay for my own meals unless a post explicitly says otherwise at the top.
• I use my own photos. Every photo here was taken by me unless credited otherwise.
• I take notes during the meal, not from memory weeks later.
• I check pricing around the time I publish.
• Reviews go up after the visit, never before. I won’t promote a place I haven’t eaten at.

Conflicts of interest

If a restaurant comps part of a meal, I say so at the top of the post. If a brand sponsors a post, it’s labeled “Sponsored,” and so is any companion social content. I don’t accept paid links inside otherwise-organic posts.

Corrections

If I get something wrong, I want to fix it. Email contact@sushiadventures.com and tell me what’s wrong. Corrections are noted at the bottom of the post with a date.

AI

I use AI tools to help with editing, research, and image processing. I do not publish AI-generated reviews. Every story, opinion, and review on this site is based on my own real visits.

Comments are moderated. Spam, abuse, and unrelated promotion get removed. Disagreement is welcome and stays.
